| | Take I-93 to I-89. Get
on I-89 going Northwest. When you get into Vermont get off at exit # 1 and take
Rt. 4 West to Rutland. In Rutland you will come to a T-junction where you will
either have to turn right or turn left. Turn left (onto Main Street) and immediately
get into the right lane. Turn right at the very next street (West Street) which
is 4A or "Business 4." Follow that street through Rutland, over the railroad tracks
into West Rutland. At West Rutland you will see a Price Chopper shopping area
on the left. Shortly after that you will see Rt. 133 to Middletown Springs, a
distance of about 10 miles. When you come to Middletown Springs you will come
to a stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign and go down the hill, across a small
concrete bridge. FIA is the second building on the right past the bridge.
Note: If you should find yourself on the Rt. 4 Bypass around Rutland get off at
the West Rutland exit and turn left at the light. You will see the Price Chopper
on the left. Follow the instructions above from that point.

| | Take I-87 (NYS Thruway)
North to Albany. At Albany get off the Thruway at exit 24 and continue on I-87
(now called the Northway). Continue until exit 17N. Get off I-87 at 17N and follow
that road about 2.5 miles to the first traffic light which is Rt. 197. Turn right
onto 197 an follow it to the T-junction in Fort Edward. At this junction turn
left onto Rt.4. Stay on Rt.4 for about 16 miles to a point where Rt. 22 turns
off to the right (this turn is about 4 miles past Fort Ann). Turn right onto 22
and follow it to a blinking light where 22A turns off to the left. Turn left onto
22A and follow it for about 7 miles. Watch for the Panorama Motel on your left.
Just past the Panorama on the right is a small road with a sign saying "Poultney
1." Take that road and follow it into Poultney. In Poultney this road arcs around
in front of the college with the main entrance off to the left you will be intersecting
the main street of Poultney. Turn right onto Main Street. Follow this road through
Poultney, through the traffic light, and keep going for 8 miles and you will be
in Middletown Springs. At the stop sign make a right turn and go down the hill
and across a small concrete bridge. Friends in Adoption is the second building
on the right past the bridge.
