The Gift of Love To Kathy:
Let's play house.
I'll be the mommy, you be the daddy.
Rabbit, you be the sister.
We work,
we play, we eat.
We pretend, we go to school,
we eat, we work, we play.
And sis, when you grow up
you can be a mommy too.
I know Teddy
believed me.
I saw the look of excitement and anticipation.
That's how
it is and will always be.
You'll see . . . Well, I waited and waited.
I couldn't wait to be a mommy.
My friends were all becoming mommies
-
just like the story goes. And I waited and wished and hoped and
prayed,
but no babies came my way.
I was starting to become alarmed
and question God and man.
I'm going to be a mommy too!!
This always
was the plan,
but no babies came my way. Tricks of science sometimes
work,
but sometimes not I'm told.
Keep waiting they all seem to say.
(Until I'm too old - OH NO!)
I cannot let it end that way. So
now I have another plan
and one that's not so new.
Your baby's got to
have a home
and I know mine will do.
In fact, that's just how I got
here.
I know how this will work. It is the Gift of Love

To embrace a child, girl or boy

To raise and school and teach the rules

is the perfect answer for parents and child alike
Not
illegitimate as some have said
Oh no - never - not at all!
